Pet Parade 2008
This was my first time participating in the Atlanta Humane Society's
annual Pet Parade. I had such a good time that I will make it a yearly
tradition. I took my basset Otis with me. I was worried that he would
be scared since this was his first big outing but I was wrong. He had
a blast! He didn't seem to notice that he was one of the shortest
pups there. He was mingling with the Great Danes and
Bull mastiffs like he was just as big!
Otis was exhausted after the walk. He might act like a big guy
but really he's just a shorty and the mile walk around the park
coupled with all the excitement wore him out.
Me and Otis (right) with aunt Helen and cousin Joni

Otis after the walk. He's so tired he can barely
keep his eyes open.
